This week, we started afresh, with our first show on Music Box Radio. Unfortunately, as many of you may know, MEATtransMISSION got shut down with very short notice. Times change though and the show must go on - thanks to David Minns, we were very lucky to find a new home, broadcasting live from the Market House in Brixton on the new station, ‘www.musicboxradio.co.uk’.
We couldn’t have asked for a better guest to kick off our weekly show here…having listened to his mixes and reviews for years, it was a pleasure to welcome Strictly Kev, the sole remaining member, for over 10 years, of Ninja Tune’s amazing DJ Food project. The only annoying thing about the show was that we weren’t able to talk for longer!!! In the time we had though, we discussed some of his famous work and his cross-discipline creativity, as well as the very common ‘London question’, before he provided one of the very best guest mixes we’ve ever had on the show.
