For our first November show, it was hosted by our new crew member Sam Karam…and we were delighted to have B.K.R, aka Simon Baker, join us.
An inaugural release on Drumcode was followed by music on Fina White, Alan Fitzpatrick’s Whistle Blower, and remixes for Rydim (Italo Johnson) and Paris Brightledge (Paranoid London) on Hot Creations. Having come to the end of a road with his material under the Simon Baker name, we got chatting to B.K.R about his future plans and got a glimpse of his forthcoming release on Dusky’s 17 Steps.
B.K.R’s vinyl and digital imprint, BKR Projekt, launched with an EP featuring a remix from techno favorite Skudge. With early support from major players like Loco Dice, Laurent Garnier, Ben Klock and Ryan Elliott, this forward thinking artist is one to sit back and watch develop.
