One of our incredible editors, Will Soer, covering the weekly LL show on @threadsradio, introducing his new music journalism format called Deep Cuts - gathering contributions from writers, musicians, fans and people from all around the world, to share music on certain themes.
Each article comes with a mix combining music from each selection, the first of which he delivered in this show. It’s the feature that makes a lot more sense when you can see it in some kind of finished form, but Julia Star was the first person to instinctively get it, before that. Will invited her to the show to chat, share music and whatever else she fancied. She delivered a live rendition of a new song, along with a diary reading which we laced into the Deep Cuts mix, whose theme is Head Space.
