Since his first club residencies in 1988, Paul has remained devoted to underground music and culture.
His DJ sets are journeys into the varied shades and tones of dance music. His live sets fuse dub techno, electro and ambience.
Paul has released music on Exalt Records, Diffuse Reality, Roulette Rekordz, Pulse State, CyberSoul and his own labels Hierophant Dubs & Hierophant Records. Forthcoming music for 2024 includes the final part of the Watching the Decoys trilogy and other music for old friends and new labels; the journey continues…
Paul also hosts the “State of Play†radio show, broadcast monthly on @threadsradio and existing on (and off) air since 1990, ad-hoc but always focused on “electronics with soul and soulful electronicsâ€.
