”Creating a cohesive mix that represents all the styles and genres of music I love can be a challenge, especially at this time of year when you don’t know whether you want to be locked in a basement listening to dark and moody music or outside in a field listening to bangers. My aim was to sit somewhere in between all of this, and take you on a journey through dark and dubby, sexy techno and jungle with varying peaks of energy and deeper moments throughout. I’ve seen a lot of inspirational sets over the past year, including two very recently from mi-el at panorama bar and kode9 at bergs, both of those sounds are hugely prevalent throughout this mix.
