Ludovico Esposito is an Italian music PR freelance and festival organizer, president of Sud Sonico cultural association and founder of AVANT Festival, Xenomorph Sounds and more event formats.
Ludovico started to eat trip-hop and house music since he was a child, thanks to his mother who exposed him to a few, yet important, albums for his musical growth. When an adolescent, he began to attend illegal dub/dancehall and hip hop parties in his native homeland Lecce, in South Italy. And then in 2009 he moved to North Italy - in there, he held his bachelor degree in consumer psychology and started working at music events and experiencing electronic and techno music - he heard Jeff Mills and Mogwai and something clicked.
In 2014, he started his own techno party, Knick Knack, in Lecce; this led to a string of crazy events bringing the likes of Ancient Methods, Samuel Kerridge, Boris, Electric Indigo, Sunil Sharpe, Inigo Kennedy and others. In 2017, Ludovico thought to unite his main passions: food and electronic music, so he created the experimental rave festival Sagra Elettronica, presenting two editions which were graced by the likes of Lee Gamble, Nkisi, Jay Glass Dubs and more. In 2019 he won a public fund for innovative business ideas and launched his cultural association, Sud Sonico (literally sonic south), together with sister event formats like the concert series Xenomorph Sounds, or the boutique avant garde AVANT Festival - which saw the participation from artists like Gigi Masin, Grischa Lichtenberger, Yuko Araki, Laura Agnusdei, Katharina Ernst, Black Pulse and more.
