Ãlvaro MartÃnez, professionally known as Vromm, is a Spanish producer and DJ born in El Campo de Gibraltar, Cádiz and based in London, UK. Self-taught kid, passionate about airbrush painting and music.
His family opened Flexo Club, a nightclub in San Roque in 1986 when he was 9 years old where he learned to mix and DJ. He started making music at the age of 13, when there was no access to the Internet. He released his first 12” single in 2000 with his old project DeckAge, incorporating elements of electro, techno, and jungle.
Vromm’s first Ep, Prototype EP, was released in 2014 by Doc Scott on his 31 Recordings label, which was Tune of the Month on Mixmag with a 9/10.
In July 2017, his second EP published by Critical Music was awarded the Top 10 Best EP by Resident Advisor. Ambassador of the high-end headphone brand Audeze, he has also designed sounds for synthesizers Korg’s brand In addition.
With more music on Craig Richards’ The Nothing Special and Om Unit’s Cosmic Bridge, Vromm’s versatility leads him to change his musical direction on a regular basis.
