Kakofonico is a project born from the mind of Riccardo Biffi; computer scientist and audio Engineer. He has spent many years as a resident DJ for the “Viale Rossi Project” collective in his hometown, Bergamo.
In 2016 he moved to Milan and soon became a key member of “Intersezioni “corp. Then in 2019 he released his first album on Intersezioni Rec., “Welcome to My Jungle”, through which he was able to give a clear identification to his own sound. In 2020, he also released his second E.P. on MadOnTheMoon Recordings, “Vox in My Head”.
His DJ sets, like his productions, blend ethnic traditions with innovation and experimentation linked to electronic music, creating a unique emotional journey, inspired by tribal rhythms and dirty and powerful bass lines.
