Classical Mechanics is a Eurorack-Modular-based electronic music project created with the assistance of Simian Mobile Disco’s Jas Shaw. A five track EP entitled ‘Count Basis’ is in the final stages of production - a taster of which (“Scribbles”) appears 38 and a half minutes into the presented mix. Some influences include ‘The Spirit of Jazz’/Alva Noto/tones & micro tones/general ambience/ phasing/Stravinsky…and of course Marcel Proust.

”This selection is an attempt to let the outside into my inner musical world. Putting seemingly disparate styles together is not often the done thing but here I thought ‘all of these things co-exist rather wonderfully internally - why not externally’? I have spent my life being pulled apart, embarrassed & contradicted by music - now I just let it do what it wants to me”.
