Born in the disco years, a child of the 80s, and a teenager from the rave scene! Thierry’s musical journey started with an electric organ, which led to him buying his first machine in 2001: the Yamaha Rm1x! Between 3 borders - France, Germany and Switzerland - he began to organize parties with his crew NRDS (noncompliance with the silence), which was created in 2004. Then, in 2007, his own label Provokation came into being.
He defines himself as a ‘deviant hardcore & techno’ fanatic, ignoring any limits related to BPM or style. From ambient to experimental, acid techno to acid core, dark to melancholic, he can be found to playing all of them via his lovely machines.
He has toured extensively - his “World War Tour” (2010/11), including more than 90 dates, covering 4 continents, including a memorable live set, abroad a truck, at the notorious “Fuck Parade” in Berlin. He is in essence a live artist, preferring the stage to the recording studio, but his few solo releases do stand out, especially the track on the wicked label, Mokum.
He continues to be an activist of techno culture, hosting a radio show ever Sunday in Brussels, entitled ‘Emotional Provocation’, which is strictly dedicated to live hardware acts. His enthusiasm to play more and more never diminishes!
