Interrupt is a digital reggae/dub producer based in London. Influenced by the sounds of 80s dancehall and contemporary dub, Interrupt serves up his own unique style of upbeat digital reggae. He has worked with a number of singers including Parly B, Tenor Youthman, Speng Bond, Solo Banton, George Palmer, Ponchita Pelegros and Taiwan MC.
After a number of successful releases, including the ‘International Affair’ EP on Cubiculo Records, Interrupt recently joined up with London heavyweights Reggae Roast to release his first 7” single, featuring Russian singer ‘Tenor Youthman’. The single ‘We Rule the Dance’ received international support from artists such as David Rodigan and Mungo’s Hifi. With a second single and full album dropping at the end of the month, Interrupt shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
