This mysterious Belgian Electronica project, named Axhan Sonn, is a man full of exciting ideas. This is no accident - as he sees it, he was born into a musical revolution in 1990. Since his first compositions at the age of 10, Axhan managed to pull out a singular sound signature - moving from complex but coherent abstraction, to rich and sophisticated melodies. Release-wise, his latest album, “Mesehyena Tracks”, released on Belgian label Nerve System Records, just got a worldwide distribution. Rewarding its ability to both touch the soul and move the body! His production talent has subsequently lead to awards such as the “Point Culture” and “Red Bull Elektropedia” prizes during Brussels’ “Concours-Circuit” contest in 2012. He know also manages his own label, ‘Lord Cal’!

Versatile, Axhan Sonn performs everywhere from intimate dark basements, to a crowd of connoisseurs, and at the most hedonistic Belgian raves. He is one of the real curiosities of the Belgian electronic music scene at the moment and we’re delighted to have him as part of this evolving series.
