Weird and wonderful is the name of the game. From Sweden, over Great Britain, to the American Indians, with a little trip back to the former GDR, taking a strange flight over the Balkans and Austria, whilst including a little bit of Russia, Latin America and some German classics - a geographical musical journey! Welcome to the world of tea-snuggery.

:(: / :), aka Three Emojis, is Tom B. Born in 1976, his musical journey quickly led him to electronics. From Kraut Rock and bands like Cluster, Can and Kraftwerk in his youth, to the early 90’s with the start of the techno movement and club culture in Germany. His sets have always pulled on this progression, never purely one thing or the other.

One of his major influences is DJ Marcelle from Amsterdam, and her way of breaking conventions. Music is a world phenomena and so its output should reflect this. Just like a nervous zen master on tenterhooks, waiting for the very last sound, impulsive but deeply circumspect, it should bring together everything in a Jackson Pollock-like manner. For Tom, spontaneity and improvisation are always more important than perfection.
