This mix is one to really cherish. The musicality of Pal+ does not follow genres or rules, instead focusing on abstract collections of electronic music. It is also quite personal, reflecting prints of reality, mixed with sentiments amplified at the sound of the music itself. It leaves any listener “soaked” and with a cosmic impulse to extend their musical journey.

Pal+ began his first musical adventures in 1998 when he purchased a Roland MC505 Groovebox. 8 years later, his song “Calçada da Ajuda” was released on the compilation “Corpos Garagem Vol.1”.
Then, after another 6 years of musical development, it was in 2012 that his first EP “The Forest” was born on One Eyed Jacks label - it was warmly received and entered the SPIN´s 20 Best Electronic Records of 2012 list. In that same year, “The Hentai Cut” was present in the compilation Dead Cities Vol.1 on One Eyed Jacks as well.
This patient and high-quality output rate has since continued through an album of re-mixes, “Reflorestation” and then his EP “Kalimba” in 2015, which was remixed by Roundhouse Kick, Dealy & our very own Silvestre!
Pal+ is another key example of the amazing talent present throughout Portugal at the moment. Hopefully this mix will stand as a further incentive for all of you to delve deep into the wonderful creative pool present there at the moment.
