This week’s mix brings you a number of genres which have yet to be explored in the mix series. Big props to Amen Shamen. Starting with some lovely dub, including a few of his own productions, the mix combines rolling jungle with some D&B classics and finally some rudeboy amentalist jungle. Simon Kitt, aka Amen Shamen, is a 21 year old jungle producer and Jenga Sound System resident currently living in Bristol. He is one of the main forces behind the sound system’s success around the South West. He is always keen to freely distribute his lively jungle and dub, keeping firmly in touch with his musical roots.
