Editors Pick - T-Scale's "13 premieres I heart"
Published on 2020-05-08 00:00:00 by T-Scale
This weeks Editors Pick, we turn to T-Scale, who is in charge of premiers. “I really hate myself for leaving out some other ones from this list but fuck it, Ive had this dilemma before.. Heres 13 premieres I heart in no particular order:”Antoine Bobicz Escalateur dans la ciel (bau053) / Baumusik
Recently premiered, Escalateur dans la ciel (note the intentional -or not?- typo in “la ciel”) by pilot and songwriter Antoine Bobicz is an assumed quirky pop song that reminds me a lot of 70s French comedy films and Wes Anderson movie soundtracks.

Another recent one is this anti-4×4 banger from Cocktail Party Effect which i describe like so: “An energy bomb, exploding into aural clusters. Being hit in the face has rarely been so enjoyable!”

SKOOP has been really prolific in the past few months. WIth Tzusan dropping his fantastic album BABAU along the way, i can just take my hat off to the crew!

Just next level shit. Nuf said. This is what Jazz will sound like in 20 years but
these young lads have done it in advance.

Church Andrews music reminds me in its simplexity of Mark Fells work.
Straight to the essential, in focus.

OOH-sounds is a label im really fond of. Ran by a lovely human and releasing forward-thinking
music. This track by Wesqk Coast is accompanied by a video that extends its message into symbols
of our times.

Ive been a fan of Wee DJs output for quite a long time and was more than pleased to

Released last year on Deep Cover, Daniel Ruanes remix of Mike Drones & Loëpas Bad Habit is
a beast! Taking the original into a granulated, feedback heavy path that complements the
mangled vocals without losing its spirit.
